Bio: Juliet has been a class teacher in UK primary education for more than 20 years. She has a Master's degree in Educational Assessment and has been the subject leader for ICT, Music, Science and, currently, English. Her own primary and early secondary education was outside the UK. She is interested in different perceptions of the purposes of education and is critical of how it is used as a political tool. She considers education to be a lifelong pursuit which far exceeds governmental concepts of work and the economy. Juliet is currently very frustrated at the lack of development and momentum in using electronic tools to build integrated, balanced systems of learning and assessment.
